Interested in a networking experience that is more than just attending meet and greets or passing out business cards? Want to go beyond small talk and start really connecting with professionals in Chicago? Ready to invest in yourself while contributing to Chicago? Then the Young Professionals of Chicago is for you!
Wakey, wakey, eggs and bac-y! There are so many reasons to NOT get up in the early morning, but YPC has just given you a great reason to rise and shine. Have croissants and coffee while meeting other young professionals in the city. This year, YPC will host monthly breakfasts for members and prospective members at the Metropolitan Club the first Thursday of every month. The breakfasts are $5.00 for members and only $10 for guests (you can hardly get a half-caf latte and muffin for that!). Included is a continental breakfast buffet with a bonus hour of networking with other attendees. Space is limited to the first 50 and you must register in advance (below), so set those alarms and join us!
Mix up your holiday and learn the art of craft cocktails during a hands-on class. Guests will learn about various spirits, the basics of mixology, and simple cocktail ideas that will impress at any holiday party you’re hosting this season. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to network with Chicago’s young leaders, but registration also includes 2 drinks, appetizers and a mixology take home kit.
Location: Viand Bar & Kitchen, 155 E. Ontario St. Chicago, IL 60611
What’s the difference between great results that happen on purpose vs. great results that happen by chance? The difference is intentionality!
Have you ever found yourself out of balance? Where part of your life seems to be going well and on track, but another piece of your life keeps falling short of your expectations? Getting the results that we want in our career, making time for the people that are important to us, and taking care of ourselves and our health don’t always seem to go well together… and if we don’t take charge, the chances are that one or more of these areas will suffer. To truly get what we want in life, a clear vision will help us prioritize what’s really important and a strong plan of action will get us moving in the right direction.
Attend this event to learn:
How to get more clear on what we want in different aspects of our lives
The skills and habits that allow us to move more quickly toward our goals, even in a highly competitive workforce
How to hold yourself accountable to living out your plan
How to create a plan that helps you navigate the obstacles in your path and gives you fuel to make it through the tough parts of the plan
